A Patient-Led Movement of Empathy, Courage, and Hope
ASHRAY, YES to Lymphoma, was born from a deeply human belief - No person facing lymphoma should feel alone, unsupported, or without hope. Formed in 2018 by a group of lymphoma survivors and care partners connected with Tata Medical Centre, Rajarhat, Kolkata, ASHRAY exists to support patients and families through the emotional and practical challenges that often come with a lymphoma diagnosis.
The organisation offers guidance on non-medical concerns, emotional reassurance, patient-to-patient support, caregiver support, and awareness around lymphoma. Its work is rooted in lived experience. Many of its members have either faced lymphoma themselves or stood beside a loved one through treatment. Their understanding comes from having walked the path before.
Beyond direct counseling, ASHRAY provides an open community platform where patients, survivors, and caregivers can share their personal experiences and write blogs. By giving voice to real lived journeys, our contributors offer invaluable hope, relatable insights, and strength to anyone currently walking the path of cancer care.
ASHRAY carries a clear and compassionate purpose. Every lymphoma patient deserves dignity, access to care, emotional strength, and the confidence to say yes to life.
“Pain became purpose. Fear became empathy. Survival became a reason to stand beside others.”
